This was the last OBC 15km time trial of 2010, and the ride of the night was Jeremie Lacasse's 22:07. This breaks the Minime (13-14 yrs) Male Category record of 22:12 which was set last week by Derek Gee. Note that before July of this year, the Male Minime record remained static for half a decade since Andrew Lattimore's 23:05 which was set half on 2005-Aug-25. This year, Jeremie bested Andrew's mark 5 times and Derek did so once. We expect to see the MIM record fall again next year when Derek is in his second year in the MIM category. Note that this cool, damp, windy evening does not rate as a good one - the Event Factor was only .9043. Only 3 of the 38 participants improved upon their previous season-series best, and the only person who bettered his previous database best was Jeremie Lacasse. This further emphasizes the quality of his race.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you ! It is strange to me that a bike club would expel one of the most avid cyclists in town because she volunteers a cool cycling service...)
