With the strong, gusty side winds, this was probability not a night for disk wheels. Most riders enjoyed the way out, and reported not having too much trouble until the final 800 or so meters, where their speed dropped by 10km/h or so. Regardless, there were some excellent times. Thirteen people improved upon their previous database best and two tied their previous best. The most improved were Junior Female rider Nina Nesdoly with a 15.61% improvement and Derek Gee, now a Minime rider, with a 13.76% improvement. Close behind, with a 13.55% improvement was Veteran A Male cyclist Antony Zimmer, who had only ridden one previous time trial - that of Good Friday this year. Even though the weather was warmer and calmer on Good Friday than today, 19 of the 31 who had ridden both days were faster today, with three of us improving by more than 25%. Celia admits to having her good ratio result from a reduction of flower. Gone are the ones on the front. Holder Avery asked if the artificial red roses a l'arriere had thorns in them. Celia said no, but had she known that Avery was going to be the holder...

The first 63 of these results were first posted on the OBC site circa 15:30 on 2010-May-08, with the remaining 21 added on 2010-May-10 at about 18:30. The results are available here for your added pleasure.

(Note that I'd gladly type in the results each time, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. Regardless, I will continue to donate this statistical time trial result service to you, even though doing so has, surprisingly, resulted in my EXPULSION from the OBC ! I guess I must at least thank the OBC executive for taking on the grunt work and leaving me to do just the more interesting side of my result service, but I do want to make it absolutely clear that I would gladly help the OBC Board input the results, lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface! The choice is theirs. If they want the help, I'm here and will do it - even if I remain expelled! Such is my level of dedication to public service and disinterest in private politics.)
