This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Two great TT weeks in a row, as measured by the high EvtFactor! Warren MacDonald took another 8 seconds off of the men's course record. Sue Schlatter, out for the first time this season, also improved upon her best - by 9 seconds. She is now only 15 seconds off of the women's course record, which was set by New Zealand professional rider Meshy Holt back on 2002-Jul-18. It is particularly interesting to see how Sue, at about double Meshy Holt's age when Meshy set the women's record, compares with respect to the age handicapping method currently used in the OBC. Note that Warren and Sue were the only two riders to also improve upon the database category records tonight. The rest of us did well too. Out of the 78 who had ridden previously in the 2009 OTT series, 4 tied and 54 improved upon their previous season-series best - with 14 of those upping their cube speed by more than 10%! As well, 2 equalled and 29 bettered their previous database best 15km, with 9 of those improving their cube speed by more than 10%. It is still only early June, and some of the legs may have still been tired from Rideau Lakes, so many more improvements are expected this season.
