This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

ABC Open TT Series - 2008-Sep-16 - 15km (Tatlock Rd) (EvtFactor= 0.9054)

Weather (18:00): Partly Cloudy. Temperature: 16°C, Wind: Very light breeze.

Very light breeze, and a cool 16C greeted 6 riders at the start line; all finished. The ideal conditions resulted in one Personal Best time. Despite having injured his foot in a triathlon on the weekend, Mike Dupuis, pleased with his new aero helmet, took 30 seconds off of his previous ABC 15km best. Fastest was Andrew Kruger with a time of 24:11. Andrew's last ABC 15 km TT was 2006, though he has ridden one or more 40km time trials most years since 2003. Quinton Sweeney was fastest from ABC with a time of 25:41. Fastest female rider was Celia McInnis with a time of 25:45.

Some of us who didn't improve had much better excuses than Mike who did improve. Quinton had a long day at school followed by a soccer commitment, Kathleen had no computer and an injured thumb which required antibiotics, Celia likes the temperature to be 20 degrees warmer, and Dave, who had planned to volunteer - well he had 29 pounds of excuses with his mirrored, lighted and fendered commuting 1990's Fiori Modena commuting bike! In fact he had even added some extra weight with a coat green paint to hide the original fuschia and pink from Les. All in good fun!
