Warm temperatures and cloudy skies greeted the four riders who showed up to ride the penultimate event of the 2019 series. A nagging crosswind precluded any seasonal bests but all came close. However, after riding over 100 km to get to the start, Celia took a mark made by the highways dept for the turn, and came up short, resulting in a DNF.

Final 40k of the season takes place this Sunday, September 8th at the Franktown Christian Academy. Registration takes place at 7:45 am with first rider off at 8:31. Help is required at the start and turn. Email leshum@magma.ca or call Les Humphreys at 613-256-2498.
