The weather has been difficult this May, but at least it is improving! Tonight began with gusts of up to 45km/h off of the river, but it was sunny and 17°C, significantly warmer than the first two events. Six women rode tonight, and the two of us who had ventured out earlier in the series had cube speed improvements of more than 14 and 18 percent! Better yet, Faye Kofoed, our youngest rider who is in her second year of riding WTT events, improved upon her previous 10km database best by 6.11%! Congratulations Faye! Here is a graph showing the WTT results so far this season, and here is a listing showing the weather conditions and results on each of the nights so far. Next week is the final 10km WTT event of 2019. In June we switch to 15km events, so come on out next week if you are a woman (or boy up to the Cadet category) and want to do a 10km time trial.
