Of the 49 finishers tonight, 45 had ridden an earlier 2019 OTT event, and of these 13 managed to improve and 5 to equal their previous season-series best. The remaining 27 of us were slower than our season series best, and if you look at the summary information just below the results after sorting by the "PerfRatio to" "PB Yr-Ser Pre", you will see that the average of these performance ratios is 0.9849. More interesting, if you look at "PerfRatio to" "CB Database Pre" we see one slight improvement (1.0021) in the previous All-time best for the VDF Category by Erika Revesz and a tie (1.0000) in the previous All-time best for the CAF category by Jazmine Lavergne! The previous setters of these category records were Mary Ajersch with one second slower at 24:20 for the VDF category on 2001-Aug-21 (despite crashing off of her bike 1km from the end!) and Katherine Maine on 2013-Jun-27 with the same 22:39 that Jazmine did tonight. Here's to more improvements from these talented and hard-working women!
