It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. OBC Open TT Series - 2012-May-17 - 15km (Rockliffe Pkwy) (EvtFactor= 0.8805)

There were some fantastic rides tonight, despite the high air pressure of 102kPa) and the NW winds, which surely were higher than measured by Environment Canada at the Ottawa Airport! Casey Roth took six seconds off of his first attempt on this course last week to finish first in 19:31. Michael Nash was second, 10 seconds back with 19:41. The best ride of the evening, though, goes to the third place finisher, Derek Gee, in his first year as a Cadet. Derek will turn 15 in August, and his time of 20:03 tonight is the third best Cadet 15km result in my database, and its important to note that the only two faster rides were done by Alex Cataford (19:38) on 2009-Sep-10 and Andrew Lattimore (19:49) on 2007-Aug-23, both late in the season in their second year in the Cadet category. As an added bonus, Derek beat his speedy dad for the first time! In terms of the women, the first three all improved upon their previous database best. First place Kelly Knowles broke the 40km/h limit for the first time with her 22:23. Junior rider Ariane Bonhomme did 23:34, and Robyn Angeles (24:02) will almost certainly be sub-24 next time.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
