This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Tonight was the first time out this season for Aaron Fillion, and has normally been the case, he finished first with a 2012 series best time (so far) of 18:38 or about 48.3km/h. Douglas van den Ham was a strong second in 19:36 while five riders - Logan Cornel (20:07), Alexandre Michel (20:07), Robert Parniak (20:08), Cadet rider Derek Gee (20:09) and Iain Radford (20:09) - finished with times between 20:07 and 20:09! For the women, Veronik Bourgon was fastest with a new personal best of 21:49 (about 41.25km/h). Tricia Spooner was second at 22:46 (about 39.5km/h), perhaps tired from a busy week on the bike. As expected, Robyn Angeles dropped into the 23s with 23:44 on her way back down to the 40km/h speeds she had decades ago on the old Limebank Road course. The most improved of the season-series and also the most improved in terms of previous database personal bests was Jeremy Medaglia with a cube speed ratio of about 2.24 and a good excuse - He started on time tonight rather than 6 minutes late as he did last week (when he had a mechanical problem)! Many others improved, and not because it was an easy night - Gusty winds from the south made several sections of the course quite slow.

These results were posted on the OBC site circa 23:00 on 2012-May-24 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
