On August 30 4 riders started and finished the 16th time trial of the season. Conditions at the start were cloudy and 25C, with 14 km/hr SSW winds. The fastest rider was Mike Coldwell. Jeff de Jonge posted a Season's Best of 28:30. Chad Dempsey rode his own bike and posted a reasonable time with the help shadow rider Dave McAuslan.
Please note, that next 15km Time Trial will be on September 6th with the watch starting at 6:00 pm and with sign in starting at 5:30 pm. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A 1/2 HOUR EARLIER START DUE TO OUR DECLINING LIGHT LEVELS IN THE EVENING.
The fourth and last 40 km Time Trial is Sunday, September 4th meeting in Franktown at the Calvary Christian Academy Parking lot from 7:30am with the watch starting at 8:15am. After the 40k time trial, the club barbeque is being held at Fred and Vicki Gueur's home ( 1 Laura Crescent, Almonte) from 11am to 3pm. Club members, significant others, and anyone doing the 40km time trial are welcome. Please email or call if you and your significant other will be attending.
