TT Query

This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. OBC Open TT Series - 2012-May-03 - 15km (Rockliffe Pkwy) (EvtFactor= 0.8536)

The first sub-20 minute time of the year for the OBC time trials was achieved by Douglas van den Ham (19:47) and, interestingly enough, 3 men tied for second place with 21:02 - Alexandre Gagnon, Joel Katz and Robert Orange! The fastest of the females tonight was Cadet woman Bailin Xie with a new PB of 23:38. Ariane Bonhomme (24:06) and Carol Deavy (24:20) rounded out the top three. For those who had also ridden the time trial on Good Friday, all but one improved upon their Good Friday time, with Dave Cooper being the most improved with a cube-speed ratio of 1.9948. Four riders improved upon their previous database best for 15km, and it was Derrick Hynes who upped his PB by the highest ratio - 1.1085.

These results were posted on the OBC site circa 22:00 on 2012-May-03 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
