TT Query

This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. First place woman, Sue Schlatter, who was in fifth place overall, set a new women's course record tonight with her 19:40, six seconds faster than her previous best which was set on 2010-Sep-02. In terms of the other women, Tricia Spooner (21:49) was in second place 13 seconds off of her 2011 best of 21:36 and 40 seconds off of her alltime previous best of 21:09. Erika Revesz (22:39) posted her 2011 OTT best but was 10 seconds off of her 2011 WTT best of 22:29 and 46 seconds off of her alltime best of 21:53 set a couple of times in 2008. For the men, Alex Cataford (19:05) was fastest but 8 seconds off of his best of 18:57 (the current Junior (17-18 years old) Male course record), Michael Nash (19:08) was second at 29 seconds off of his 18:39 PB, and Jon Gee (19:29) was third with a new personal best. Overall, 32 riders did new 2011 OTT bests tonight, and 18 achieved new personal 15km database bests. Congratulations as well to Veteran F (80-89 years old) male Geoffrey Wright (30:49), Veteran E (70-79 years old) female Mary Ajersch (26:01), Veteran B (40-49 years old) female Sue Schlatter (19:40), and Veteran C (50-59 years old) male Paul Datars (19:50), for each improving upon the year bests for their categories.

These results were posted on the OBC site circa 18:30 on 2011-Aug-05 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
