Congratulations to Sophie Matte (21:42), Erika Revesz (22:41) and Ellen Pazdzior (23:18) for ranking first, second and third, respectively. None of them had a season series best, likely because of the strong northwest winds. Six of tonight's participants did, however, improve upon their previous season-series best. In fact five women bettered their previous database best. Congratulations to Micheline Patrice (31:18) for her performance ratio of 1.1160 relative to her previous 15km best, even though she had a faster 10km in May. Janine Gorman (25:06) posted the next largest improvement of 1.1093, while Carole Brown (27:08), Lindsay Los (24:43), and Jenny Vipond (25:48) posted smaller improvements in their previous 15km database best. Currently, 25 women qualify for the WTT awards by having ridden at least 5 WTT events this year, 4 of which must be 15km time trials. You may click here to see the rankings sorted by category.
These results were posted on the OBC site circa 22:00 on 2011-Aug-02 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.
(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
