Twenty women rode tonight and there were some great times, with half of the pack being faster than 25 minutes. Jennifer Stephenson led the way with 21:31. This took another 4 seconds off of her earlier WTT 15km record, though she was 10 seconds slower than the VAF record which she set in the open series on 2008-Jun-26. Note that 13 of the 18 who had ridden earlier 2008 WTT 15km events bettered or tied their earlier 2008 WTT best 15km, and four of those had performance ratios which exceeded 1.1. Better yet, nine bettered or tied their previous database best with 2 having improvements exceeding 10%. Congratulations to Kari Ferlatte and Christa Ramonat for their huge database improvements! Also, welcome to the new riders - Calah Wright who did a 23:53 good for 5th place, and Debbie Murphy. It would be great to have even more women out there next week. Come on out ladies!
