Thanks to Barbara Wilson for taking photos at the start/finish when she wasn't busy helping with other things, and thanks to the other volunteers who helped to run this event.
It was cold (10 degrees down south at the airport and likely a few degrees cooler up north here by the Ottawa River), blustery with strong gusts from the North-North-West, and there was detrimentally high air pressure exceeding 102 Kpa, but, hey at least it wasn't raining, hailing or snowing! Six volunteers were there to encourage the eight women who rode this WTT 10km event. The only riders tonight who did not achieve new personal season-series worsts were those who were making their first appearance of the season. Congratulations to them and to the rest of us for not improving but still having fun!
Thanks to our Helpers: Jean Cooper, Nick Déry, Jim Glover, Celia McInnis, Barbara Wilson, Don Wilson.
