Thanks to Morley Dore for photographing the action at the turn around, and thanks to the other volunteers who help.
Seventeen women came out to ride tonight's time trial under conditions which were not too cold and not too windy but with a detrimentally high air pressure of 102.1kPa. Regardless, five of the seven repeat offenders managed to improve upon their time from last week and the other two of us were close! There was also a new women's 10km database category record for the Veteran D category (60-69 years old). Congratulations Ingrid Coney for taking 27 seconds off of the mark that you set last May under similar weather conditions! Congratulations also to peewee (10-12 years old) Ruby Kofoed for completing your first time trial. It looked as if you were enjoying the dirt at the turn-around, perhaps getting ready for Cyclocross in the fall! ed to run this event.
Thanks to our Helpers: Jean Cooper, John Cooper, Nick Déry, Morley Dore, Jim Glover, Dave Hinz, Celia McInnis, Barbara Wilson, Don Wilson.
