This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

John Warren comments: "Seven riders arrived at Union Hall to cool conditions; 18º C, and wind 25-30k W. This marks the end or our ABC time trial program for 2012, which is our 25th year of time trials. All riders finished. Fastest was Kelly Knowles (OBC) in a time of 23:22, a female course record eclipsing the time of 23:37 set by Diane Marleau in 2009. The fastest from ABC was Greg Calnan in a time of 25:32, a Season Best time. Fastest female from ABC was Celia McInnis (ABC) in a time of 28:10."

Celia adds: Congratulations to Kelly Knowles (23:22), in her first attempt on this course. It was not an easy night, with only Greg Calnan managing a slight season-series improvement of 2 seconds. Most of the rest of us were off by more than half a minute from our best Tatlock Road ride this year. Kelly Knowles did really well in the OBC TTs this year with a best of 21:39. On Tatlock Road tonight, not only did Kelly reset the women's course record, but she also managed to place first overall! Note that a woman has placed first in an ABC time trial only 7 times out of the 515 ABC time trials which we have results for over the past 25 years, and usually only when the participation is lower than tonight due to very bad weather.
