This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

It was a pleasant night for a time trial and seven women arrived to ride the first 15km time trial of the 2012 CycleFit Series. Four riders were faster than their best 2012 10km CFCTT. The fastest was Kathy Bradley (24:28) with a performance ratio of 1.0258 relative to her best 10km CFCTT in 2012. The most improved relative to her fastest CFCTT this year was 2nd placed Shiree Nowoselski (27:11) with a 1.3375 ratio. Third placed Celia McInnis (27:39) remains the most unimproved, but hopes that the battered knee is back to normal within a month so that she will not lose so much time going over the overpass. All riders had good times, and Brian Robitaille served as an itinerate photographer. After we had all passed the turn-around, he cycled back and took pictures of those of us that he caught while riding. Actually he mistakenly took pictures of one non-CycleFit woman who was riding on the course, causing her some amount of alarm! I guess most women wouldn't expect to have a guy ride by taking photos them. Actually I didn't even expect it, and started to chuckle when he went by me with the camera aimed at me. Brian had to do some fast talking to convince the lady that he wasn't some sort of a pervert but was just out there on CycleFit "official" business! Hopefully this woman also eventually got a laugh out of the situation and will consider joining our club!
