NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

OBC Open TT Series - 2008-Jul-27 - 40km (Fournier)

These results were first posted on the OBC site circa 17:30 on 2008-Jul-27 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

The wind was a little tough on the return, but you'd never know it for some of the excellent times! Michael Nash set a new database record for 40km of 51:22 - a minute and 22 seconds faster than his previous best on the hillier, but smoother and more wind-sheltered Calabogie course on 2007-Aug-12. Eleven of the 30 riders had times below the hour! Fourteen bettered their previous database best 40km time, with six of those increasing their cube speed by more than 10%! Today was the second time that we have used the Fournier course, the first time being 2006-Sep-17.
